Staycation at the brand new Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas

This past weekend Connor and I had the opportunity to staycation at the BRAND NEW Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas! And fam…let me tell ya – it was amazing!

From the moment you walk in you’re surrounded by a modern elegance of architectural design with a touch of Texas. (Which if you are like many of us Texans we take great pride in our state being simply awesome enough to inspire decor!)

After exploring the hotel a bit we finally made it up to our room located on the seventh floor in the corner. Now, when they initially said we had a corner room we were not expecting anything extravagant at all! However, our Junior Suite had two full walls of floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the booming city of Frisco. Taking in this view was the first time that I had really allowed myself to stop and admire how much this city was growing. It truly was breathtaking knowing the best is yet to come for my beloved city of Frisco.

The rest of the room was exquisite as well! From the barn door style bathroom door, to the motion censored night lights – Hyatt truly thought of it all when it comes to making sure your comfort is taken care of.

With any stay at the hotel you HAVE to check out the pool. So off to the fourth floor we went.

This gorgeous pool with pool side service is sure to wash your quarantine blues away.

So while you’re soaking up the sun (and fun) at the Hyatt Regency pool I have two recommendations for drinks. The first recommendation is the Fourth of July Cocktails which can be made kid friendly as well as adult friendly.

This fun drink features a red white and blue freezer pop dipped in either lemonade or champagne! The second drink is the Pink Señorita cocktail which is made with Casa Noble Tequila, Lime Juice, Pink Grapefruit Juice, Cranberry Juice and a Mint Sprig. It’s simply the perfect refresher for a hot summer day!

With the fourth of July coming up, this is the perfect spot to book that staycation we alllllllll need. It’s a great option for guests that want to have views of the Frisco Freedom Fest firework show from their hotel room while being able to socially distance from crowds. The hotel is offering a special rate of $99+tax for standard rooms and can be booked on the hotel’s website using the discount code FRIS99. Be sure to request a room facing the firework show prior to arrival or at check-in as these are on a first come, first serve basis. And with all the rooms having floor to ceiling windows this is a great view of the fireworks.

We also found out that if you book your stay for the Fourth of July at Hyatt they will also be providing a few extra goodies upon arrival! When you check-in for your staycation the hotel will also be providing complimentary American flags, glow sticks, and freezer pops for children. But don’t worry mom and dad, festive drinks will be available for purchase at the bar and pool throughout the holiday weekend so you can have just as much fun as the kiddos!

While a staycation has to end at some point, the memories are what last forever. Be sure to book your staycation with Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas this summer! (And use the code ‘Fris99’ for an exclusive $99 rate!)
