
DALLAS (Feb. 18, 2019) – Tulum is excited to announce the launch of its new Happy Hour, available starting today.
Every Monday through Friday from 5-7 p.m., guests will be transported to the Mexican coast with Tulum’s one-of-a-kind ambiance during its incredible new Happy Hour, featuring delicious small plates and drink specials:
Small Plates ($7)
Flutes – Corn tortillas filled with white chicken, chihuahua cheese and potato with creamy avocado.
Pollo Tamal – Corn masa filled with chicken breast, chihuahua cheese, red chile guajillo and serrano salsa verde.
Vegan Ceviche – Marinated portabella, shiitake and oyster mushrooms, jicama, serrano peppers and beets with housemade plantain chips.
Avocado & French Radish Chips – Fresh avocado with extra virgin olive oil, serrano, green onion and jicama.
Cocktails ($7)
House Margarita – House tequila and fresh lime juice on the rocks.House Wells – House vodka, gin, rum, whiskey or tequila with your choice of mixer.
Wine ($7) – House Red or House White.
Bottled Beer ($5) – Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Dos Equis, Stella, Modelo Negro or Modelo Especial.
“I took inspiration from Tulum’s unique culinary excellence while crafting these small plates for the launch of our Happy Hour,” said Executive Chef Nico Sanchez. “The small plates are light, elegant, natural and taste exquisite. These paired with our drinks, laid-back ambiance and open-air kitchen make for the perfect after-work treat. So, come in, relax and enjoy all that Tulum has to offer, right here in Dallas.”
The first of its kind, Tulum is inspired by Dallas restauranteur, Mike Karns, and his wife, Valerie’s, favorite vacation spot. Guests of the new restaurant can enjoy entrées such as Lamb Chops with white truffle ricotta gnocchi, confit carrots, spicy beurre blanc and mint chimichurri, Scallops with smoked potato purée and roasted beet, and Baby Back Ribs with roasted pineapple salsa negra and sesame seeds.
Tulum is located in Highland Park’s “foodie zone” at 4216 Oak Lawn Ave. and is open Monday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5-11 p.m., and closed on Sunday. For more information, visit thetulumexperience.com.
