World of Barbie Heads to Dallas-Fort Worth This Winter

Frisco, Dallas Forth-Worth (September 28, 2023) – After welcoming over 250,000 guests in Toronto and Los Angeles including multiple extensions due to overwhelming demand, World of Barbie is making its way to the DFW at Stonebriar Centre, in Frisco on November 18, 2023.

This one-of-a-kind immersive experience is produced by live entertainment company Kilburn Live, in collaboration with Mattel (a leading global toy company and owner of one of the strongest catalogs of children’s and family entertainment franchises in the world), along with global events leader IMG. The 25,000 square-foot attraction will allow fans of all generations the unique opportunity to step directly into an inspiring world where they can explore a life-size Barbie Dreamhouse, try out several Barbie careers displayed in various interactive rooms, and even sit behind the wheel of a full-size Barbie DreamCamper Van. 

Visitors will be inspired to imagine the endless possibilities of following in the footsteps of Barbie to become a scientist, designer, music producer, astronaut and more. The visually stunning production will also feature a bespoke Barbie exhibit where guests can see how Barbie, her Dreamhouse and her various vehicles have evolved over the years and can learn more about how she has become the number one doll property globally, per Circana*.

Endeavor-owned IMG, the company behind New York Fashion Week: The Shows, Frieze art fairs, King Tut: Treasures of the Golden Pharoah and the Miami Open, is co-producing World of Barbie exhibitions. World of Barbie at Stonebriar Centre will feature many interactive installations including: 

  • Barbie Dreamhouse: Visitors will be able to explore the exquisitely designed rooms of the life-size Barbie Dreamhouse, complete with a patio and pool, a DJ kit for guests to mix music, and walk-in closets filled with garments from decades of iconic Barbie fashion history
  • Barbie DreamCamper Van: Fans can take the driver’s seat in this full-size camper van, built by leading car customization shop, West Coast Customs, or simply relax in a hammock
  • You Can Be Anything Doll Boxes: Guests will have an opportunity to walk the pink carpet and pose inside of one of the six Barbie boxes
  • Barbie Interstellar Rocket: Visitors will be able to board a Barbie space shuttle to interact with mission control and travel to several interstellar destinations
  • You Can Be Anything TV Network: Visitors can step onto the set and become a news anchor delivering headlines in front of various TV studio backdrops, interviewing their guests or giving the weather report
  • Movie Theater: Guests can also step into the neighborhood movie theater where classic Barbie animated content will be played
  • And so much more! 

World of Barbie in the DFW will also continue the successful after-hours and special events from Los Angeles including Sips After Sunset, a recurring event at World of Barbie, where guests 21+ are invited to enjoy World of Barbie with the addition of DJ-driven music and themed cocktails and bites, hosted by special guest influencers.

World of Barbie will kick off its Dallas-Fort Worth tour stop at Stonebriar Centre, the premiere shopping destination in Frisco. Tickets for the Dallas area engagement go on sale on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 and tickets start at $34.50 for adults and $25.50 for children.
